Gloria Day
Gloria Day is a digital illustrator who hopes to ignite a sense of childlike curiosity and nostalgia through her comic and cartoon focused artwork. When it comes to style, minimalism and bold color are the elements that speak to her the most; the same elements that she recalls being drawn to as a young child. When creating a body of work, her creative writing background often comes into play. Poetic phrases and clever captions often accompany her sketches. Even though classic comics constantly inspire her, Gloria leaves plenty of room in her creative process for sharing her own experiences and finding ways to express how she views the world.
